KENOSHA – Mrs. Ruth “Betty” Ingrouille, 90, passed away at Brookside Care Center on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.

She was born in San Diego on April 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Nels Chris and Esther Marie (nee: Bertleson) Tofting.  She later moved to Racine and graduated from Washington Park High School.  On July 28, 1945 she married Robert Ingouille at Bethany Methodist Church.  They moved to Kenosha in 1956.  He preceded her in death on July 31, 2000.

In her earlier years she enjoyed her involvement in the PTA, 4-H Club and bowling leagues at Castle Lanes.  However, she was always happiest as a homemaker and mother who loved being in the company of her family.

Betty was also a longtime member of Somers Community United Church in Christ.

She is survived by her son and daughter, Todd (Robin) Ingrouille and Becky (John) Lucci both of Kenosha; her grandchildren, Ron (Melissa) Lucci, Brian (Julie) Lucci, Megan (Andy) Holiman, Robie (Sal) Zagra; her great grandchildren, John  Holiman, Kyla Holiman, Zachary, Dominic and Ava Zagra, Josh, Christopher, Dominic and Aaron Lucci; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Ingrouille of Fiefield, WI, Shirley (Ralph) Mandernack of Kenosha; as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Syslack; her brothers-in-law, Gerald (Dorothy) Ingrouille, Edward Ingrouille; and sister-in-law, Olive Ingrouille.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2016 for a visitation and time to meet with her family from 10-11 a.m.  A service remembering and celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathleen Gloff officiating.  Her interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Somers.  Memorials have been suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – Wisconsin Chapter (200 S. Testimonials

December 18, 2024

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didn’t know what to expect. We didn’t have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didn’t stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.

Hilda Balderas
