
Scott A. Sorenson, 63, passed away in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Scott was born in Racine on April 7, 1952, the son of the Russell and Dorothy (nee: Hoffman) Sorenson.
On June 24, 1976, here in Racine, he was united in marriage to the former Donna Dailey. He had been employed by Don Huston Motors, Uke’s Harley Davidson, Schmidt Industrial Truck, and later was co-owner and operator of Lil’ Scott’s Custom Motorcycles. Scott was a former member of H.O.G.S. He was also into racing cars. In his younger years, Scott raced sprint and modified cars at Wilmot Race Track. Scott also enjoyed watching NASCAR events.
Surviving are his wife, Donna; two daughters, Sarah Sorenson, of St. Louis, MO, and Kristan Sorenson, at home; mother, Dorothy Sorenson, of Kenosha; brother, Rusty (Sherry) Sorenson, of Kenosha; sister, Linda Jorgenson, of Austin TX; his former partner, Tom (Andi) Squires, of Kenosha. Scott’s nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held, in the funeral home, on Friday, December 18th, at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Manda Stack officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
