Racine – Theodore S. Rangel, Jr., age 87, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Theodore was born in San Antonio, TX on April 7, 1935 to Theodore and Aurora (nee: Saenz) Rangel, Sr. On July 19, 1953, he married Rebecca Saldivar who preceded him in death on May 20, 2007. Theodore was employed by Twin Disc for over 30 years. He loved being outside tending to his yard. He enjoyed owning and “tinkering” with old cars, all makes and models. His favorite TV show was The Three Stooges, and he enjoyed watching old cowboy movies. Theodore was a man of fashion, and his wardrobe represented the style of the times. First and foremost, Theodore was a family man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. When any family member needed something, Theodore made sure to do whatever he could to help.

Theodore is survived by his children, Jane Ruiz, Theodore (Kim) Rangel III, Norma Flores and Irma Rangel; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends – too numerous to mention by name. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rebecca; son, Robert; sons-in-law, Carlos Ruiz and Ramon Flores; grandsons, Theodore A. Quintero and Lupe Martinez, Sr.; his 2 sisters and 3 brothers; his 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.

Service for Theodore will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 6:00PM in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Road, Mount Pleasant. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00PM until the time of his service.

Special thanks to Mike Langendorf….many tears of joy overwhelm the family. You are a very unique person.  I cry because you know how to make the best out of any situation. You lay my husband away beautifully and there are not words that I can really express how grateful I am. All the people at your funeral have my gratitude for the love and care you showed us.   You all are truly God fearing people who care about people.  Thanks and may God bless you all richly!   The Coleman’s
