
Thomas A. Lawrence, 74, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 13, 2012, following a long battle with cardio-pulmonary fibrosis. Tom was born in Vermont on August 28, 1937 the son of the late Paul and Mabel (nee: Donahue) Lawrence.
He served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1956 until 1962. Tom was employed by the Massey Ferguson Company for over 29 years until his retirement. He then founded Videoman Productions. Tom was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church, the Massey Ferguson 20 Year Club, and the Sno-Mad Ski Club.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Stella; their children, Belinda (Axel Schneider) Lawrence, of Minneapolis, MN, Tim (Lisa) Lawrence, of Union Grove, Kelly (Christina) Lawrence, of Racine; 4 grandchildren, Shawn Costanzo, Tesa Lawrence, Hailey Lawrence, and Connor Lawrence; brother, Donald Lawrence of Carbondale, IL; sisters, Kathleen Ehlen, of Union Grove, and Jeannine (Sebastian) Muhl, of Burlington, WI; and brother-in-law, Jack Ripp, of Madison, WI. Tom is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, June Ripp, sister-in-law Jan Lawrence, and brother-in-law, Richard Ehlen.
Relatives and friends are asked to meet St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3801 Drexel Ave., at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 18th for his Memorial Mass with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Inurnment in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery will take place on Wednesday, August 15th at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 15th at 11:45 a.m. for departure to the cemetery at 12:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church.
