Timothy C. Hoffmann

Mar 9, 1949 – Nov 4, 2008

Timothy C. Hoffmann, 59, died in St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee on Tuesday November 4, 2008. He was born in Kenosha on March 9, 1949 the son of the late Theodore W. and Violina (nee: Vogelman) Hoffmann. Mr. Hoffmann owned and operated Clark Building Maintenance for over 25 years. He was a member of the Racine Lions Club and a past president of Kiwanis. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and was an avid Packers fan. His greatest love was for his family especially his grandsons of whom he was very proud. Surviving is his son Matthew T. (Teria L.) Hoffmann Sr.; grandsons, Matthew T. Hoffmann Jr. and Connor A. Hoffmann all of Racine; sister, Bonnie Poikonen of Sturtevant; brother Ted S. Hoffmann of Beloit; brothers-in-law, Richard Hetland Sr. of Black River Falls and Clem Lutkus of Waterford. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hoffmann was preceded in death by his sisters, Diane M. Fliess, Carol J. Lutkus, Katherine “Kitty” Bydalek and Arlene M. Hetland. His Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, November 7th at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Private entombment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery Hy 32. In lieu of flowers an educational fund will be established for his grandchildren.
