Wayne Leslie Siebold Jr.

Jul 17, 1948 – Oct 6, 2015

Racine – Wayne Leslie Siebold Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was born in Napa, California on July 17, 1948, son of the late Wayne and Barbara (nee: Birdwell) Siebold. Wayne and his family moved to Illinois when he was 6 months old, and he spent most of his adult life living in Westmont where he worked at International Harvester for many years until he retired.  Wayne moved to Racine in 2010 to be closer to his family.

Wayne always enjoyed being around family and friends, and was quite the social butterfly. He liked visiting Mario's on Mondays, and having breakfast at the Dynasty restaurant as often as possible. He also enjoyed spending time with his family in Crivitz; texting with family and friends, surfing the internet; playing games and catching up with everyone on Facebook.

Wayne is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mark Hanson of Racine; grandchildren Kirsten May, Kristian May, Jasmin Lohr all of Racine, and Jordan Hanson in Colorado; his sister, Ruth Siebold of Racine; and will be dearly missed by his K9 pal, Pickles. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Siebold and Edward Siebold.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 6:00pm with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. and continue until the time of the service.

He touched so many hearts, yesterday, today, tomorrow, Forever!!! May he rest in Paradise, free to soar through open skies to guide the ones he loved until the end of time!!!
To the family that loves him so, dry the tears from your eyes he wouldn’t want you to mourn his death, but would rather you celebrate his life!!!!

We met Wayne in the 80’s when we all worked at Amling’s. He was a good guy, working there when needed and also at Harvester. I remember that he took care of his mother-in-law, Olga who was an invalid for several years. We are glad he got to spend his last years with his family in WI.
