
Mr. William L. Borchardt, 96, died at WFH – All Saints on Friday, October 8, 2010.
He was born in Racine on April 15, 1914, the son of the late Max and Gertrude (nee: Dresen) Borchardt. On July 12, 1950, he married the former Charlotte Dixon.
Mr. Borchardt served under the Civilian Conservation Corps, Company 655, from 1933-1937. He worked for Standard Foundry for over 30 years and retired as a tool maker with Deluxe Tool.
In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Charlotte, his survivors include his daughters, Carol (David) Baker, Debra (Robert) Pavlovich all of Racine; grandchildren, Dawn (Rick) Stickland, Linda (Dennis) Fossey, Victoria Beasley, Rob (Anna) Pavlovich, William Pavlovich all of Racine; great grandchildren, Britney, Breanna, Cody, Alyssa, Anthony, Corrina; great-great grandson, Jayden, soon to be great-great granddaughter, Savannah; sisters-in-law, Marion Borchardt and Bertha Borchardt; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. for the celebration of William’s life with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon. His interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery following the service.
