Yvonne Margaret Spino

Sep 18, 1931 – Oct 21, 2012

Kenosha– Yvonne Margaret (nee: Otto) Spino, age 81, passed away peacefully at Hospice Alliance – Hospice House on Sunday, October 21, 2012.  

Yvonne was born in Kenosha on September 18, 1931 to the late Nicholas and Stephanie “Stella” (nee: Shepark) Otto. On October 28, 1954 she was united in marriage with Tony Spino, who preceded her in death on July 7, 2009.  

Many years ago, Yvonne was employed by American Motors for 15 years until retiring to become a full-time mother. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Yvonne loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family – especially her grandchildren.  

Surviving are her daughter, Lynn (Rich) Valentine of Kenosha; son, Gregg (Johanna) Spino of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Sterling, Holly and Teagan Valentine; Isabella and Angelica Spino; sisters-in-law, Catherine Davis and Phil Turnbull; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Yvonne was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy (Warner) Landeau, Lorraine (Bud) Gevers and Beverly (Ed) Kovacik; Tony’s parents, Vincenzio and Giovannina (nee: Mariscalco) Spino; and brothers-in-law, Joe, Lou and Frank Spino.  

Funeral services will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 am.
