
Rodney C. Brownlee, 43, completed his earthly journey and was called Home by his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 24, 2011, He was born in Racine on December 28, 1967 the son of Joe and Hattie (nee: Andrews) Brownlee.
Rodney was employed by the I Hop restaurant as an assistant manager. He was a member of Midtown Church of Christ. Rodney enjoyed cooking, and in his younger years, playing basketball.
Surviving are his son Dominic Brownlee; parents, Joe and Hattie Brownlee; 2 sisters, Loretta Henderson and Sonji Tye; nieces and nephews, Andrew, Amber, and Ashley Tye, Racquel, Riana, and Rashaad Henderson, all of Racine. Other relatives and his special friends, to numerous to mention, further survive him.
His Homegoing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3rd the Midtown Church of Christ, 1704 13th St., with Brother Howard Puryear officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at a later time in West wn Memorial Park.
