Kathleen Fodor

Somers – Kathleen J. Fodor, 65, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital in Racine on Thursday, August 27, 2015. She was born in Racine on August 5, 1950, daughter of the late Roy and Marjorie (nee: Simonson) Hermanson.  Kathy graduated from Horlick High School in 1968; and worked 26 years at Chase Bank where she worked as a teller. She was married in Racine on March 15, 1969 to David J. Fodor in Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Kathy loved to sew, quilt, and enjoyed participating in craft fairs. Fishing and caring for her dogs were also some of her favorite pastimes.

Kathy will be dearly missed by her husband, David J. Fodor of Somers; and their children David Fodor and Patricia (William) Misinski both of Kenosha; grandchildren, Megan Fanning of Viroqua, Branden Misinski of Prescott Valley, Arizona, James Fodor, David Fodor, Jordan Misinski, and John Fodor all of Kenosha; great-grandchildren Elijah Dregne and Lydia Misinski; sisters Jean (Bob) Lucey of Cazenovia, and Ruth Gerou of Waupaca; brother-in-law Thomas Fodor of Racine; as well as many other relatives and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother-in-law, Florence and George Osgood.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 with Rev. Mark R. Jones  officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 4pm – 7pm; and on Monday beginning at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the All Saint Foundation (for Cancer Care) in memory of Kathy have been suggested.

Kathy’s family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Michael Mullane and staff; and to the doctors and nurses at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital for their dedicated and compassionate care Kathy received.
