Service Details

Homegoing celebration will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Viewing will be on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.

Racine- Bernard A. Anderson, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Bernard was born in Chicago, IL on May 3, 1964 to the late Archie and Mable (nee: Delapp) Anderson. He worked as a self-employed handyman / window cleaner.

Bernard was an accomplished drummer & singer, enjoyed watching WWF wrestling and was a loving husband. Above all, he loved spending time with his entire family.

Surviving are his children, Purnell Clemos, Christeen Goodwin, Shmantha Anderson, Tamika Anderson, Lenard Anderson, Bernard Anderson and Bernice Anderson; a host of adored grandchildren; sisters & brothers, Archie Anderson, Nathaniel Anderson, Marchelle Stevson, Barbara Beachem, William Anderson, Edna Anderson, Cornelia Anderson, Pamela Anderson and Samantra Sparks; many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Bernard was preceded in death by his father, Archie Anderson; mother, Mable Delapp; sister, Barbara Beachem; son, Parnell Clemos; grandparents, Gertrude & Mathew Danielfield.

Homegoing celebration will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Viewing will be on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
