Cora B. Foster, age 95, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Born in Shelby, MS on February 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Alee and Cora Lee (nee: Buckner) Glass.

On February 14, 1943, in Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Nathaniel Foster.  They moved to Kenosha to make their home in 1950.  Sadly, Nathaniel preceded her in death in May of 2001.

Cora was employed for over twenty years as a cook at Great Lakes Naval Station and retired from the Kenosha Elk’s Club where she had been employed for many years.

She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church since moving to Kenosha and was a proud member of the Second Baptist Mothers Board.

Left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Diane Montgomery, Deborah Foster, and Janet Foster; her brothers and sisters, Thomas Glass, George Holmes, Lillie Mae Mitchell, and Wynette Green, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Cora was preceded in death by her children, Nathaniel Foster, Jessie Benjamin Foster, Edward Foster, Lois Hughes, Rochester Foster, Fannie Foster, and Viola Foster, and her siblings Rosie Ross and Isiah Glass.

Testimonials

May 22, 2019

We recently used Draeger-Langendorf’s services for my grandmothers funeral and we are so thankful for Mike and the rest of the staffs help. They made the whole process easy and never urged us to make a certain choice. They were very informative of how the service was going to go and always made sure we knew what was going on. To our surprise Mike Langendorf was there singing in the choir during the funeral and it really made us feel like he truly cared about us. Such a fantastic singing voice! Amazing people to have helping plan during a hard time, would highly recommend.
