Marjorie Lin Drascic, age 72, passed away at Home Harbor Assisted Living Community, Racine, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Marjorie was born in Racine on August 4, 1951 to Eugene and Marvel (nee: Nelson) Drascic, Sr. She lived in Racine until 1971, moved to Kenosha until 1988, and to Shertz, TX until 2014 before returning to Racine. Marjorie was employed by Quakers Industry for 18 years and Sweeney Company/Nash-Finch for 15 years. Among her interests, Marjorie was an avid football fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers; absolutely loved collecting cat statues (her family estimates she has around 5,000!); was fascinated with eagles and buffaloes; enjoyed traveling, especially to Upton Falls, WI and visited many historical places as she was a member of The Wisconsin Historical Society; was a huge fan of Elvis and John Wayne; and loved decorating at Christmas.

Marjorie is survived by her brothers, Eugene Drascic, Jr. and John Drascic, sister, Theresa Howen; nieces, Stefanie Drascic, Jennifer Drascic, Tania (Gary) Chernouski, nephews, Eugene (Jill) Drascic, III, John (JenAnn) Drascic, Adam (Kelly) Howen, Steven Badillo; her great nieces and nephews; special friends, Tim Kelly and Mary Nichols; and her friends at Home Harbor. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene, Sr. and Marvel; her sister, Darlene Badillo; nephews, Ron and Gil Badillo; and extra special friend, Henry Bocneggra. The family would like to thank her doctors, Amy Kelly and Thomas Matkov, and the nurses and staff of Aurora at Home Hospice for their compassionate care and support given to Marjorie.
