Service Details

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Richard’s Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Ave., Racine.  A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 7th from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

 

Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to either The National Aphasia Assoc., P.O. Box 87, Scarsdale, NY,10583 or The WI Alzheimer’s Assoc., 620 South 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI,53214, would be appreciated by the family.

Diana L. Fiore, age 88, of Racine, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. Born in Racine on September 13, 1935, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Inga (Halverson) Bentson. Along with caring for her husband and five sons, Diana was employed with Racine Unified as a teachers Aid for many years. On August 22, 1959, at Holy Name Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to George J. Fiore.  Sadly, he preceded her in death on October 22, 2023. Diana was a member of St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church as well as being an avid Packer and Brewers fan. She is survived by her five sons, David (Carol) Fiore, Thomas (Leslie) Fiore, Daniel (Jodi) Fiore, Jon (Angie) Fiore, and Paul Fiore; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Diana was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Fiore.

    Growing up, Diane was always like a sister I never had. Loved her sense of humor. So sorry we never stayed in touch. 🙏🏼prayers to the family.
