Service Details
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. A visitation for Travis will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Travis L. Halcomb, age 94, of Kenosha passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Belmont, MS on April 29, 1931, a son of the late Calvin Lee and Eula Ann (nee: Hale) Halcomb.
On January 9, 1951, in Belmont, MS he was united in marriage to his soulmate Lalla L. Stacy.
Travis and Lalla proudly owned and operated Kenosha Glass Co. for over 47 years.
He truly loved working in the glass shop. In addition to work, he enjoyed taking care of his lawn and flowers, caring for his tomato plants and took great pride in the harvest. He also enjoyed watermelon and loved a good yodel now and then.
Survivors include his wife, Lalla; his daughter Elizabeth “Betty” (Michael) O’Neal; his grandchildren, Stacy (Ben) Smith, Michelle (Ben) Sherrick, and Ryan O’Neal; great grandchildren, Hailey (Tim) Kalicki, McKenna Smith, Caleb Smith, Abbey Sherrick, and Aubrie Sherrick, and his great great grandson, Dean Kalicki.
He is further survived by his two sisters, MaDrue Kimbrough and Yvonne Paden.
Travis was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Halcomb, his brother Hoyte Halcomb, and a sister in infancy.
Travis’ family would like to extend their love and thanks to his special angel, Kristi, Hospice Alliance, and Aurora at Home Hospice for their excellent care and concern during his illness

Mrs. Halcomb and family, we are two of the many lives that Mr. Halcomb touched during his lifetime. We have loss a family giant and it is heartbreaking. We must never forget, “It is part of God’s plan”. Our feelings at this time are difficult to express in words. We are sending the family our love, deep condolences, and strength to get through the coming days. We wish each of you peace and comfort at this difficult time.
