Ned Lee Cooper, 77, was called home by his Loving Savior on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.   He was born in Alcoa, TN on July 23, 1945, the son of the late Baker Lee and Mattie Mae (nee: Ingram) Cooper.

On December 5, 2010, he was united in marriage to Olivia Mallory Bolton. Mr. Cooper was employed by the J.I. Case Co. until starting his own trucking company. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing the guitar, and was famous for telling jokes and his tall tales.  He also loved playing bingo  with his friends at Fountain Hills Apartments.  He was a kind hearted man that loved to spread joy and make people laugh.

Surviving are his wife, Olivia; his son, Alfonso Waters, of Dodge County; stepchildren, Timothy (Leslie) Allen, of Atlantic City, NJ, Chisholm (Joanne) Allen, of McDonough, GA, Robert (Sonja) Allen, of Durham, NC, and Anthony Allen, of Houston, TX; daughter-in-law, Eunice Allen of Racine and several loving grandchildren. His brothers, Charles (Belinda) Cooper, of Racine, John (Jeanette) Cooper, of Buford, GA,  and Richard (Jane) Cooper, of Alcoa, TN, numerous nieces, nephews and best friend, Lacy King, and many other dear  friends also survive him.   In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his stepson, Andre Allen, sisters, Polly Cooper and Sarah Cooper, and brother, James Willie Cooper.
