Funeral service: Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 am in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home

Visitation: in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 am

Racine – Angelo Puma, age 88, passed away peacefully at Ascension – All Saints Hospital on Saturday evening, December 9, 2017.

Angelo was born in Racine on April 25, 1929 to the late Angelo and Carmela (nee: DiPasquale) Puma., he faithfully served our country with the United States Army in the Korean War. On November 14, 1953 in St. John Nepomuk Church, Angelo was united in marriage with the love of his life, Elaine (nee: DeCaire). They proudly just celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary.

Ang was employed by Webster Electric for over 25 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Among his interests, he enjoyed playing cribbage, fishing, hunting, craft building and casino gambling. Above all, he loved and cherished spending time with his entire family.

Surviving are his loving wife, Elaine Puma; their children, Angelo James (Nancy) Puma, Gary (Rose) Puma, Sandi (Dan) Bojcic and Sue Buckson; grandchildren, Kellie (Josh) Davidson, Angelo Michael (Shelley) Puma, Kim (Chris) Hanson, Tony (Isabel) Olson, Angie Olson, Doria (Bill) Nedd, Amy (Brandon) SerVoss, Mike Bojcic, Joe Bojcic and Anthony Buckson; great-grandchildren, Caleb Davidson, Angelo Jacob “AJ” and Allie Puma; Kourtney and Kenzie Hanson; Brianna, Gabriel, Evan and Isabella Olson; Rebekah and Jordan Nedd; Amy, Audra and Alden SerVoss; sister, Carolyn Schuessler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Angelo was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Katelyn Davidson; brothers, James Puma and Charles (Lillian) Puma; and brothers-in-law, Duane (Donna) DeCaire and Jack Schuessler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Entombment, with military honors, will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 am.

Special note of thanks to the staff at the Villa in particular Rhonda and Becky; and to Ascension – All Saints for the compassionate care and support given to Angelo in his time of need. May God bless all of you!

    Dear Elaine & family, My sincere condolences on the passing of Ang. Oh how enjoyed camping with you and Ang. We have wonderful memories of those days and I am sure that he and Chuck are having a great visit reminiscing of those camping days.
