Service Details

Memorial Services will be held in Water of Life Lutheran Church, 2921 Olive Street in Racine, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11 am with Rev. Michael D. Zarling officiating.  A luncheon will follow. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday, September 3rd, from 9:00 – 11:00 am.

RACINE – Audrey Jean (nee: Stittleburg) Kaske, age 86, passed away peacefully at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

Audrey was born in LaValle, WI on September 1, 1935 to the late James and Ella (nee: Placheka) Stittleburg. She received her B.A. from Alverno College in Milwaukee. Audrey was united in marriage in 1957 to Dale Kaske at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, WI. Dale passed away on January 27, 2007.

Audrey was employed in administrative positions at Western Publishing for 36 years and by Bank of Elmwood / Tri-City National Bank for another 16 years, until she retired. She was a longtime member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, now known as Water of Life Lutheran Church. Audrey volunteered as a tutor for the Racine Literacy Council and loved worldwide traveling with her beloved Dale.

Surviving are her brother, Gordon (Jean) Stittleburg; sister-in-law, Agnes Stittleburg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents & husband, Audrey was preceded in death by her brothers, Willis and Maurice Stittleburg; and sisters, Pearl Phillippi, Mary Dvorak and Ardith Hosking.

Memorial Services will be held in Water of Life Lutheran Church, 2921 Olive Street in Racine, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11 am with Rev. Michael D. Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didnt know what to expect. We didnt have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didnt stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
