Denise M. Bissonnette, 55, passed away at Ascension-All-Saints on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She was born in Racine on August 12, 1967, the daughter of William P. and Patricia A. (nee: Gavin) Walsh.

Denise was loving, caring, and trustworthy. The love she had for her family was immeasurable. Everyone around Denise knew her as a ray of sunshine that would always bring laughter to the room.

Denise received her associates degree to work as a Medical Assistant. Throughout the years she worked at many establishments but most recently was employed by Racine Dental. On May 21, 1988, in St. Rita Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Timothy A. Bissonnette. Denise was a member of St. Mary by the Lake Catholic Church. Denise was so proud of the public service jobs her sons both have.

Denise was an avid reader, loved to color and listen to all venues of music. However, the time she loved the most was spent with family.

Surviving is her loving husband, Tim; two sons, Kyle Bissonnette, and Ryan Bissonnette; her mother, Patricia A. Walsh of Racine; sister, Debra (Brandon) Wills of Knoxville, TN; brother, Jerome (Meghan) Walsh, of Bayview, WI, nieces and nephew, Justin Wills, Ireland Wills, and Ilsa Walsh; Father in law Tom Bissonnette, sister in law Renee (Matt) Bowen, Zach Bowen, Olivia Bowen. Denise was preceded in death by an infant son, her father, William P. Walsh, and mother in law Sharon Bissonnette. A very special thank you to Denise’s cousin, Shawn Zinnen, for going above and beyond, while keeping up with her medical conditions.

Denise was truly one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even seeing her recently at a family party amidst the immensity of all that she was facing, she still, in her usual way, managed to make me feel so welcome and cared for-as she insisted on helping me find a better place at the venue to feed my infant. I feel so grateful to have known her. My deep condolences to her family and all who loved her.
