I am so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. I wish I had been able to visit with him one more time. I have many happy memories of Ed, Sue, Linda, and myself saying to Ed, “You fly and I‘ll buy!” then we’d hop in the Camaro and head for Dave’s pizza! Sue, remember the matching green “smock tops”? My prayers are with you and your family. May the love of God comfort you and yours during this time.

Once a year visits with Ed at the men’s breakfast one my visiits home to Racine from Idaho were to few but of the best quality. I have been awaited with Ed since the crazy sixties and into the great early days of the glorious Jesus movement .After a 50 absence I was blessed and delighted to find him again. I will miss his fellow ship.I offer my condolences, may the Lord comfort us in the blessed hope

Was always proud and pleased to serve alongside Ed as a fellow “wood dude” during the summer Racine Royal Family Kids camp. He got a real kick out of physical lights and wanted kids to share his enthusiasm. I remember one year he created small illuminated signs with the kids’ names on them. I’m not sure what lit up the most when the signs illuminated: the kids’ faces, the signs or Ed’s face. It was all so very good.

My wife and I went to Racine in August this year. We knew Ed might not be on this side of heaven much longer, so it was good to visit with him at the same nursing home my sister Betty was in 3 years ago. She passed away shortly after we left Racine. Ed enjoyed telling us about this book he was writing. Personally I knew Ed for over 50 years. Ed and his family enjoyed having us in their home. We were invited to one of their son’s High School graduations. Always the joker, Ed said: “Hey do you like Horseradish?” When I said yes, he said “Try this.” Hot it was not…but it had to be 3 Alarm Horseradish! That’s when I found out the literal true meaning of “Take your breath away!” Thanks Ed! lol. We have not stopped praying for Ed and his family since finding out about his illness. Especially now for comfort to his widow and family.

May the Lord wrap His arms of love, peace and comfort around Sue and precious family! The Lord surely gifted Ed as a musician and a zealous joy for Jesus!

It was a blessing when Ed was able to play his guitar and bass with our music ministry along with my husband on the drums, at worship services and community events! We will surely miss his contagious smile and heart of compassion to share the Lord with others! He was one of the Lord’s special angels here on earth!

Love and blessings in Christ. Rev 21:4

All our love and condolences to Sue and the boys at the passing of Ed. Ed was such a dear brother and encouragement to so many. We had the joy of being in the same prayer meeting with him a few years ago and appreciated his heart for Jesus Christ. May the Lord’s peace and comfort be with the family.

We were out of town & unable to attend Ed’s Memorial Service. However, he was a friend of The Overflowing Cup in Beloit, WI. He ministered in the Word & music & shared his heart about his calling to minister to youth & others. We miss him greatly, but believe that his prayers live on & will be answered by the God of the past, present & future.
