Family and friends are invited to meet at New Omega Baptist Church (5731 Northwestern Ave) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
A service celebrating her life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 a.m. with her brother, Rev. Fred Richmond officiating.
Her interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.

Ella Ree (Richmond) Moss, our dear mother passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 77 Ella was born to the union of John Henry Richmond Sr. and Essie Ree (Bledsoe) Richmond in Heth, Arkansas on October 12, 1944
Ella graduated from Carver High School in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Ella moved to Chicago, then later to Racine, and was united in marriage to Benjamin Moss.
Ella was a member of the New Omega Missionary Baptist Church for 30 years. She was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Missionary Board. Later in life, Ella received her license for childcare and worked at Jefferson Light House Elementary School. She had a passion as a beautician, cooking, and shopping. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She would do anything for anyone that passed her way.
Ella leaves to cherish in memory, two sons: Jewel Richmond (Laura) of Decatur, Illinois, Lee Marvin Richmond (Ann) of Racine, Wisconsin; One daughter: Marguerite Moss (Johnnie) of Lewisville, Texas; Nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; Three brothers: Pastor Fred L (Barbara) Richmond Sr. of Racine, Wisconsin, Rev. Jimmie L (Rita) Richmond of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Charles L (Tammy) Richmond of Arlington, Texas; Three Sisters: Elmertha Evans of Omaha, Nebraska, Ilinda Richmond of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Nellie Lester-Richmond of Racine, Wisconsin and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Moss, her parents John Henry Richmond Sr. and Essie (Ree) Bledsoe and her grandparents; sisters: Ruby and Lorine; brothers: John, Joseph and Robert.
