Eva E. San Souci, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Milwaukee, on March 23, 1944, the daughter of the late Carl and Ethel (nee: Love) Everett.

On December 2, 1961, in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Paul J. San Souci, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2012. Eva enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing softball, bowling, bingo, casino hopping, coloring, and painting. Her greatest enjoyment came from being with family and friends.

Surviving are her three sons, Steven San Souci, of Racine, Mark (Jennifer) San Souci, of Kenosha, and Paul (Danelle) San Souci, of Union Grove; seven grandchildren, Douglas, Bradley, Katie, Amy, Kyle, Adam, and Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Chandler and Ava; sister, Mickey (Don) Cole, in Arizona; and lifelong friend, Alfred Roethke. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive her. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Eva was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Devon and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances (Steven) LaCoursier, and Evelyn (Buzzy) Kaiser.

July 6, 2018

My parents told me of your kindness, generosity, and servitude when we lost my brother. They needed that strength and your light came through. Thank you.
