Huay Lin Fong

Jul 21, 1939 – Dec 19, 2005

Huay Lin Fong Racine- Huay Lin Fong, 66, passed away unexpectedly in the emergency room of All Saints-St. Mary’s Medical Center on Monday, December 19, 2005 at 3:34 pm. Huay Lin was born in Laos on July 21, 1939 to the late Mei Xiu and Shu Xing (nee: Qi) Fong. On January 8, 1960 in Laos, Huay Lin was united in marriage to Da Siu Chang. Their family came to Racine on May 12, 1982. Huay Lin was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He was employed by Michaels Machine Co. Inc. until his retirement. In his spare time, Huay Lin enjoyed reading especially the Chinese editions of Reader’s Digest and the World Journal. Most importantly, Huay Lin loved being together with his entire family and truly cherished his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed. Surviving are his loving wife, Da Siu Fong of Racine; daughters, Ann Jin Fong and Ping (Xiaomao) Wu, both of Chicago; sons, Yeo (Sai) Fong, Yen (Jing Li) Fong, and Ho Fong, all of Racine; grandsons, Szu Tau and Szu Chen Fong, both of Racine; and Borler Wu of Chicago; granddaughters, Szu Yann Fong of Racine and Borchueh Wu of Chicago; sister-in-law, Seng (Khammoune) Rasavong of Racine; nephews, Lute (Natalia) Rasavong of Racine; Futachai Rasavong, George Rasavong; and niece, Ean Houei (Corey) Lapworth, all of Milwaukee; many other special relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Huay Lin was preceded in death by Da Siu’s parents, Hong Ying Chang and Shee Shu Shee. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home, 4600 County Line Rd., on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mary Steege officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 10-11 am.
