Isaiah Morice Cobb, 27, passed away July 1, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital Milwaukee, WI, with his family by his side.

Isaiah was born August 15, 1994 to Latasha Bumpus and Ernest Cobb Jr. in Racine, Wisconsin. Isaiah was a gift from God. Life expectancy was not to live past the age of one. Yet God blessed him to overcome the genetic disease and he received a liver transplant at the age of 7 years old.

Isaiah accepted Christ at an early age. He attended The Church Of The Living God and Zoe Outreach Ministries. Isaiah received his High School Diploma from J I Case High School, Racine, WI. He continued his education at Computer Systems Institute in Gurnee, IL, where he received his Medical Assistant Diploma, following in the footsteps of his mother.

Isaiah was an all-around amazing, talented, lovable young man. Isaiah was a shoe collector of many different shoes. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Isaiah loved taking pictures, listening to music and had a special interest in cooking. Isaiah later became an entrepreneur, opening No Letting Up Photography, collaborating with Realty Dreams and other businesses endeavors in place.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Latasha (Melvin) Bumpus; father, Ernest (Nikki) Cobb, Jr; 5 brothers; Ernest Cobb, Travon Bumpus, Titonaro Bumpus, Terryon Bumpus all of Racine, WI and Rashawn Bumpus of South Carolina; 3 sisters; Emari Cobb, TaShay Bumpus and KeAir Noel all of Racine, WI. Special Uncle(Brother) DaQuan Burns: God-Sister, Judaea Bouwens; Grandparents; Dwight (Venita) Parks of St. Louis, MO.; Utha (Quinn) Cobb; Ernest (Ayanna) Cobb of Toledo, OH; Special Grandmother, Elvira Bumpus and Great-grandfather, Frederick Oates, of Racine, WI; 5 aunts, LaTisha Burns of Arizona; Kyndra (Sam) Kamande of California; Kimberly (Jeff) Cawthon of St. Louis, MO.; Nicole Cobb-Franklin of Racine, WI. and Tina Campbell of Las Vegas, NV. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to mention, but not forgotten.

Isaiah is preceded in death by his grandmother, Debra V. Turner; aunt, LaTonya Turner; great-grandparents; Bud and Debra Cobb; Noal and Willie Parks; great-great grandparents; Thelma Oates; Virginia Reid and Guy and Mattie Williams.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.   A service celebrating Isaiah’s life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Death is always a time of sorrow , the best we the living can do is to be the best person in accordance with God’s word, and if or when we fall asleep in death we’ll have a chance to live again.
……when Jehovah call we will answer , Mr Cobb will await this call.

God helps us to have peace and faith and to meditate on the wonderful future promised in his Word, so that we are not completely overwhelmed by sad thoughts. As a new edition to the family, I was looking forward to meeting my two new grandsons. I’m praying for peace and calmness for the entire family.

Testimonials

April 3, 2025

I wanted to personally thank the Draeger – Langendorf Family for the wonderful support and work they provided during my families time of grief when my sister Vanessa Davis Perry passed away in August of 2021. I also would like to thank Leslie Scales who personally assisted with the details of the service & worked with my family for it to turn out as planned.
