James O'Dell Krezinski

Dec 31, 1943 – Jul 8, 2018

Service Details

A private service was held

Racine – James O’Dell Krezinski, 74, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Sunday, July 8, 2018.

A lifelong resident of Racine, he was born on December 31, 1943 and graduated from Washington Park High School.

Throughout his custodial career his talents were exercised at various Racine businesses including: Greene Manufacturing, Sunny’s Restaurant and SC Johnson Wax.

Jim enjoyed his early years with his Uncle Donald who taught him photography and cryptography. He also enjoyed riding his bike. He could always be seen riding around town.  He even rode his bike across the country.  His greatest passion was reading the Bible and sharing his belief in God with others.

Jim never felt he met a stranger.   He taught us to look beyond our differences to find a way to accept people as they are.

Jim is survived by his siblings, Judith Krezinski of New Jersey, June (Robert) Shore of Big Flats, Mary Mac Rae of Kenosha, John (Sue) Krezinski of Tennessee, Kathleen Baker, Elizabeth Dahlstrom and Ray Dahlstrom all of Racine; as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Blanche and John Krezinski; his stepfather, John Dahlstrom; his brother, Phillip Dahlstrom; his brothers-in-law, Jack Baker and James Mac Rae and nieces, Deborah, Sara and Vikki.

A private service was held at Graceland Cemetery.

Testimonials

Katlynn “Kiki” Stanke & the Family of Karl Stanke

Mike and the staff went above and beyond during our very difficult time with passing of our Opa. Mike helped relieve the immense stress by being extremely professional, paying attention to the smallest details and the overall kindness and compassion in caring for our family at our time of need. We do not believe that a thank you truly covers our deep gratitude towards you. Thank you for everything you have done for us.
