Service Details

There will be a memorial service  Friday, November 20th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. A public visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC THE SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO 25 OF THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY.

 

Joseph M. Thomas, 36, passed away at Ascension-All Saints on Saturday, November 14, 2020. He was born in Kenosha on May 25, 1984 the son of Scott and Jeanene (nee: Lefford) Thomas.  Joe owned and operated his own contractor and painting business. He loved flying, fishing, and anything to do with the water.

Surviving are his two children, Alexis Thomas-Flick, and Gracie Thomas; father, Scott (Jane) Thomas, of  Racine; mother, Jeanene Lefford; brother, Eric Lefford, both of New Orleans, LA; step-brother, Brandon Lemire, and longtime, childhood friend, Gina Landreman, both of Racine. Joe is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousin, other relatives, ad friends.

    Scott- I remember Joe so well from Saint Rita School-a force of nature when I was principal there. I still have two tiny figurines he sold me his 8th grade year and I’ve thought fondly of him each time I see them. Joe was a great kid, full of potential. I’m very sad for your loss.

    Joe and I used to cause chaos at Saint Rita’s. Joe, you were one of my favorite people of all time. I’m sorry we grew apart but you never left my thoughts. I always wished you were doing well. Heartbroken to hear the news of your passing but I know you’ll be better where you are. So many great memories and shenanigans. I’ll forever miss the OG crew of You, Noe, Steve, Amber, Ashely, Stewart and myself. So many great days/nights of adolescence. I pray you’re in a better place. Love you, your friend, Alex.
