Joseph S. Klinski, age 74, of Racine, passed away at his home on April 7, 2025, following a brave battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
He was born in Racine on July 24, 1950, a son of the late Alex P. and Pauline J. (nee: Adzima) Klinski. He attended Park High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, entering on July 23, 1970, until his discharge on January 27, 1972.
On January 26, 1991, in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Darlene A. Ziesemer.
Joe was employed as a set up man and a machinist at Styberg’s Machine Shop, Michaels Machine Shop, and Andis Clippers.
Joe lived, breathed and ate GOLF, GOLF, GOLF!!!!! Following his retirement, he achieved his dream job of working as a ranger at “Muni” golf course in Kenosha.
Joe also loved talking politics and collected coins since his childhood.
He will be greatly missed by his survivors, his wife Darlene; his siblings, Alex Klinski, Peter Klinski, and his “favorite sister”, Sharon (Jeff) Wynstra; many special nieces and nephews who he loved dearly: several cousins, and his golf family.
Along with his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Klinski on June 3, 2000, who he was looking forward to seeing again.

Long lone time age.i would beat Joe in golf regularly, but past few decades, Joe would always be off the tee first! Well I don’t know how that happened, but it was always a good morning out. I’m looking forward for our next game in the big golf course in the sky. Bro

My condolences to Joe’s family.
When Joe was a young man just out of the service he used to stop in my dad’s business E&W Auto, Joe would always arrive with a smile, a cigarette and a coke. He would come around lunch time and play Yahtzee with my Uncle Frank. I will always remember Joe as that friendly guy laughing, joking and talking trash over a game of Yahtzee.
Mary Jane Lojeski Gerke says
My sincere condolences to Darlene and family. I have many cherished memories of Joe. As a child, I would ride my bike to my dad’s garage, excited to see the guys hanging out there. Joe was always so kind to me, even though I was a pesky kid. I felt like the coolest kid in town with the fastest car when Joe sold his (I believe) Malibu to my dad, Wally Lojeski and my dad let me drive it. Later, I was fortunate to cross paths with Joe again when we both worked at Andis. It was always a pleasure talking to him. Such a sweet man. May he rest in peace with his beautiful Jessica.
