Service Details

In accordance with Joyce’s wishes, a small family gathering will be held to celebrate her life.

Racine – Joyce Elaine (nee: Mathieus) Kucharski, age 66, passed away unexpectedly at Ascension All Saints Emergency Room on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Joyce was born in Racine on July 8, 1955 to the late Kenneth and Elaine (nee:Matthews) Mathieus. She was a proud Panther at Washington Park High School. In April of 1996, she was united in marriage with Michael J. Kucharski. Her main vocation in life was a loving homemaker, but she did work for Burger King, McDonald’s and FastPac – just to name a few. Among her interests, Joyce enjoyed knitting, crochet and needlepoint.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Kucharski; children, Jessica & Jason Waydick, Anthony Kucharski; grandchildren, Joshua, Kayden, Kinzley, Alyssa & Hannah; brothers, Harold and Jeff; Michael’s parents, James & Nancy Kucharski.

Her son Eric & sister Barbara preceded her in death.

In accordance with Joyce’s wishes, a small family gathering will be held to celebrate her life.

    She will surely be missed by us. When camping she was always want to help. After her dad passed away she started calling me dad which made me very happy to be called that. When at my house she would help out with things. When my mother was at the end of her life she was here to help take care of my mother till she left us on that sad night. We love u Joyce and miss u. May u RIP.
