Robbie "Bob" Poteet

Dec 6, 1935 – May 24, 2024

Service Details

Services celebrating Bob’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:30AM. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30AM until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, 4300 Green Bay Road, Kenosha.

In remembrance and honor of Robbie “Bob” Poteet, who passed away peacefully in Kenosha, Wisconsin on May 24, 2024. He was born to Leona and James (Whit) Poteet on December 6, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi. A dedicated husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Bob will be remembered for his legacy of love and resilience. Bob found love and companionship with his beloved wife, Marilyn June Poteet, after relocating to Kenosha at 18 years old. This year they would celebrate 70 years of marriage. While we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents and two baby girls, Kim and Joanie. Bob is survived by his wife Marilyn; son, Kevin (Debbie) Poteet; his siblings, Susie, Baby Dear and Sally; grandchildren, Sarah, Shauna, Stacy; and great-grandchildren Lexi, Gage, Joey, Jenna, Austin and Kadyn.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
