Hi Uncle Bob. This is kiddos! Want you to know you were my favorite Uncle. You were fun, I remember the hide and seek, lake fun, tobogganing and your jokes, etc. Then you disappeared, I thought of you often, especially on my wedding day. I always cherished the Casper the friendly ghost cookie jar you bought me when I was 5. Unfortunately in 1981 I accidentally broke it. I remember looking at the shattered pieces and crying, then it hit me hard, shattered pieces just like the family SHATTERED. I never ever understood why? But you reappeared 17 years later which made grandma complete before her death. I also had the opportunity to get to know my cousins and was delighted my husband and kids had the opportunity as well to know you all. You disappeared again, but glad Bunny informed me were you where and your sister who I thought was going to die early in the year got to talk to you last month. I never ever will understand the family distance, only the good times. I will continue to take care of your sister ❤. RIP dear Uncle, say hi to grandma and grandpa, know you all are enjoying your beer. and hope you get to finally meet your baby brother.

Dear Langendorf Family,

There are no words to describe how thankful and loved we felt during our Grandpa’s funeral service. We are so lucky to know you as friends and we will be forever grateful for everything you have done for us and for Grandpa Mario throughout his lifetime and after his death. He loved you all and enjoyed sharing so many great times with you in the barbershop and as neighbors. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for all your caring ways and thoughtfulness and extend our appreciation to all at the funeral home who made Mario’s service so memorable.
