Mildred S. Bergemann

Feb 11, 1920 – Jul 2, 2007

Racine – Mildred S. Bergemann, 87, passed away at All Saints hospital on Monday, July 2, 2007. She was born on February 11, 1920 to Joseph and Katherine (nee: Yogerst) Bahr in West Bend. Mildred was joined in marriage to Leonard J. Bergemann on September 8, 1945. She spent her life as a homemaker and mother, lastly employed for 25 years as an accountant for St. Mary’s hospital until retiring in 1986. Mildred was a current member of St. Paul the Apostle parish, and a former member of Holy Trinity parish. She was a volunteer at St. Mary’s hospital; a former Daughter of Isabella; secretary of AARP chapter 268; and a member of various bridge clubs. Survivors include her children and their respective families, Joe (Judy) Bergemann, Nancy Pattison, Bill (Ana) Bergemann, Ted (Sandy) Bergemann, Bernice (Jim) Langer, Fran (friend Koko) Bergemann; as well as many other family members and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband; her parents-in-law Frank and Bernice Bergemann; her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Jane Bergemann; and grandson Christian Bergemann. The funeral mass for Mildred will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, with Rev. William Dietzler officiating. Visitation will begin in the church at 9:00 a.m. She will be entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia.
