Guadalupe Renteria

Nov 1, 1963 – Sep 5, 2007

RACINE- Guadalupe “Linda” Renteria, 43, passed away unexpectedly while visiting a friend in Mt. Clemens, MI on Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Born in Greeley, Colorado on November 1, 1963, she lived most of her life in Racine. She enjoyed antique collecting – especially Coca-Cola and Harley-Davidson paraphernalia and making Halloween costumes for family members. Above all, her children and grandchildren were her top priority in life. Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer Chavez (Josh Hernandez), Tia Renteria (Marco Machado, Sr.) and Heather Fors (Frank Swift, Sr.); grandchildren, Isaiah and Noah Hernandez; Marco Jr., Mondo, Mia and Milio Machado; and Frankie Swift, Jr.; fathers, Guadalupe Cruz and Louis Renteria, Sr.; brothers and sisters, Adela (Robert) Molina, Mary (Carl) Kramer, Albert Renteria, Nancy (Jeffery Helbling) Massenza, Frank (Roxanne Ruffalo) Renteria, Jesusita Yorks, Patricia (Joe) Garza and Rosemary Hagans; sister-in-law, Mary Renteria; and by many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Cruz; and brothers, Louis Renteria, Jr. and Raul “Roy” Renteria. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 pm and on Tuesday from 10-11 am. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.

It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didn’t stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
