Bonnie May Witt

Aug 30, 1942 – Dec 4, 2013

~~Racine – Bonnie M. Witt, 71, received the promise of eternal life on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.  She was born in Racine on August 30, 1942, daughter of Robert and Eleanor (nee: Neidhardt) Lawrenz.

Bonnie was married to the love of her life, Ronald Witt, on December 26, 1970.

Bonnie was a kind, giving person who loved her family deeply.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Bonnie loved her cats and dog.  She loved to watch NASCAR races.  Her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and collected much of his memorabilia.  Bonnie’s favorite way to spend a weekend was on the travel trailer in West Bend.  We loved Bonnie very much.

Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of almost 43 years, Ronald Witt of Racine; son, Christopher Witt of Racine; grandchildren Cammi Witt, Cameron Wit, Cain Witt, all of Racine; great-grandchild, Ceaton Witt; mother, Eleanor Lawrenz of Racine; sisters, Donna Sharp of Racine; Judy Wilson of Spirit Lake, IA, Sue Justman of Plano, TX; brother-in-law, Leonard (Elizabeth) Witt of Franksville, Donald (Dale Orlowski) Witt of Racine, Judy Sukalski of Fairmont, MN; cousins, Wendy Veasey, Mark Veasey, Jeff Nevoraski, Michelle Nevoraski, Vicky Taypon; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.  Bonnie is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lawrenz.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, 11:00am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  Visitation will take place on Monday, December 9, 2013, at the funeral home from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow the service on Tuesday at West Lawn Memorial Park.

We are very sorry we could not be there with you guys at this difficult time! We loved Aunt Bonnie very much, we always looked forward to their trips to Fairmont. Just this past July 4th we all sat together & watched the fireworks, & all the times we shook dice & laughed like crazy! She will be missed! Sending love to you all!

Bonnie will be missed my many people. She was a great sister-in-law whom I loved like a sister for over 40 years.

Testimonials

From a daughter

My parents told me of your kindness, generosity, and servitude when we lost my brother. They needed that strength and your light came through. Thank you.
