Rose Marie J. Kober, (97) was welcomed into eternal life on February 15, 2014. She was born in Racine, WI on November 14, 1916, to the late Michael and Mary (nee:Palmisano) Mascari. Rose Marie was married to Henry Kober on August 15, 1937 at St. Mary’s church. She was an early member of St. Edward’s Congregation and later St. Richards.
Rose Marie is survived by her children, Joanne Boyd of Apple Valley, MN, Judith Penton and son Henry Kober of LasVegas, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Rev. Ron Gramza will celebrate Mass at St. Richards on Friday , February 21 at 11:00. There will be visitation in the church preceding Mass from 10:00 to 11:00. Burial will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park immediately after the Mass.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family Rose. You were a person with such a rich soul. I loved seeing you as I grew up over the years. Always made me smile with your kind words. You and my Mother having coffee. Or you and her helping with St. Edwards events. You also were so busy praying for all of our family. Thank you! We hope you knew how much you meant to our Mom and family, and until we meet again. (I am the youngest of Jean Lensby’s children)

Thank you to everyone who wrote a note about our mother. She would be pleased.She had to be in a nursing home after a fall and she hated it…lost her independence! Now she is happy with her family in heaven.
