Joy Lynn Hamilton

Nov 9, 1967 – Jul 27, 2015

    Joy Lynn Hamilton, 47, was called Home by her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born in Oregon, OH on November 9, 1967, the daughter of Jessie and Maxine (nee: Casey) Hamilton Sr.
    Joy had been employed by Project New Life, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She was a faithful and devoted member of Abundant Life Ministries, and volunteered for many community organizations.
     Joy was known for her kindness and extreme generosity. She would open her house to anyone in need, no questions asked. Joy lived her faith and had unconditional love for everyone she met.
     Those left behind to cherish and celebrate her memory are, her children, LaJoia Hamilton, of Toledo, OH, ReAunza Hamilton, Casey Hamilton, Caleb Hamilton, and Danyll Justice, all of Racine; three grandchildren, Zareaun, Jordyn, and Zynan; her mother, Maxine Casey, of Toledo, OH; brothers, and sisters, Lonnie Hamilton, of Toledo, OH, Angela Hamilton, Joyce Hamilton, and Jessie Hamilton Jr. all of Shabuta, MS , and Brittney (Antwon) Whitaker, of Chicago, IL. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and friends also survive her. Joy Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Hamilton Sr.
     Her Homegoing Service will be held in funeral home on Friday, August 7th at 12:00 o’clock Noon, with Rev. Elliott and Rev. Josette Cohen officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
