
RACINE – Mr. Lawrence E. Evans, 58, passed away at WFH – All Saints on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
He was born October 10, 1957 to Mattie Lusk and Willie J. Evans in Memphis Tn. Lawrence moved to Racine, WI in 1965 and attended public school. Lawrence was a graduate of Washington Park High School. He last worked at SC Johnson – Waxdale.
He is survived by his wife, Tina (Brown) Evans his children, Larice (Nicole) Evans,La Tanya (Dr.W.Anderson-El),Maurice Evans, Dewayne Evans, Lance Evans, Anttwon Evans, Jermaine Evans, La Tonya Jordan and Rhondell Akins and 32 grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister and 7 brothers, James (Katherine) Evans, John W Evans, Willie Vaughn, Ann (Dr. Charles C.) Jones, David (Brenda) Jackson, Thomas (Tersalyn) Evans, Ricky ( Angie ) Evans, Roger Jackson a host of nieces and nephews; uncles, Roy Lee Allen, Arthur Lusk, Willie Lusk, William Lusk; aunts: Geraldine Evans and Margaret (Henderson) Ramsey and Grandmother Lucille Lusk. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie James Evans, step – father, David W. Jackson and his grandfather, Willie Lee Lusk
Family and friends are invited to meet at Trinity United Missionary Baptist Church (306 5th Street) on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of Lawrence’s life and memorial service with Pastor Buddy Vinson and Bishop Charles Jones officiating. There will be a time to meet with the family in the church from 10-11 a.m.
