It saddens me to read this. Dr. Shack was our Doctor In Racine for MANY years. Originally we saw Dr. Dorman, and when he retired to Calif. we continued on with Dr. Shack. He knew us personally, as we both worked for a time at St. Luke’s Hosp. He was a fast paced, but wonderful man. He helped us through many a illness. His last office was In the same building as the Dr. my wife worked for, at the St. Mary’s campus, and his assistant Pat was a personal friend for many, many, years. To the Doctors wife and families we offer our sincere condolences for you’re great loss.

To this family I have known so long. I appreciate the loss and recovery of memories. I had very much appreciated, Dr. Shack’s deeper indulgence into the science of medicine. Visits to the house on Orchard, to visit Jim and Helen were a treat. I prayer of faith and hope is poured out to his family and to those that appreciated what this man did for the city of Racine in his practice. Only the families understood those long days.
