A Memorial Service was held at Mead Street Hall, 2045 Mead Street in his honor.

Mr. Craig Campbell age 56 departed this life, Saturday, June 23, 2019 at his residence.  Craig was born on April 19, 1963, in Racine, Wisconsin. He was the youngest child of the late Ms. Minnie B. Campbell. Craig attended St. Catherine’s High School. He was an enthusiastic basketball player and he enjoyed his leisure time being around his friends maxing and relaxing watching his favorite TV programs. He also enjoyed visiting his family during the holidays and picking up his plate to go.

Those who preceded Craig in death were, Grandparents, Gaston and Pansy Canady; one Aunt, Mandy Covington; two brothers, Frankie Gandy and Willie James Campbell; two sisters, Bobbie Jean (Campbell) Hicks and Pansie Campbell; two infant brothers; nephew, Frank Gandy; great nephew, Harvey Gandy; one great niece, Taliesha Souter and his beloved brother-in-law, Darnell Henley.

Craig left behind to cherished memories, Son, Chris Blackwell; Sisters, Maryann Campbell-Henley of Starkville MS, Joann Campbell of Lithia Springs, GA, his brothers, Eddie and David Campbell as well as a fourteen precious nieces and nephews; thirty-five great nieces and nephews and his Very special friends Wayne Kidd and Jeff Dotson.

Acknowledgment

We sincerely thank everyone for all the prayers, calls and support extended to our family during this time. A special thanks to all of Craig’s dedicated friends for their love and loyalty YOU know who you are.

 

A Memorial Service was held at Mead Street Hall, 2045 Mead Street in his honor.
