MOUNT PLEASANT –  Kenneth W. Price passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Illinois, with his loving family by his side.  He was 62 years old.

Kenny was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on June 2, 1957.

At an early age, he joined Second Missionary Baptist Church in Racine, Wisconsin, under the leadership of Pastor Mack C. Davis.

He attended public schools in Racine, Wisconsin, graduating from Washing Park High School in 1975.

Kenny was employed with Ascension-All Saints starting in 1983, last working June 26, 2019.

He was very young when he started a love for cars, and working on them. He also had a love for music and played the bass guitar in a band with some close friends. Kenny enjoyed drag racing and hot rod cars, with his son Kyle, following in his footsteps. Traveling was also something he enjoyed doing with his family.  His greatest love was spending quality time with his granddaughters (who were the light of his life).

On August 25, 1984, Kenny was united in marriage to Mildred L. (nee: Townsend) Price, which afterwards his son (Kyle T. Price) was born.

Kenny is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mildred, of 34 years, his son Kyle, mom Mary Price, sister, Tawana (Carlos) Williams, brother, Thomas (Kimberlyn) Price, 2 granddaughters, Aleah Rose Lackey & Melanie Rae Price, all of Racine, & host of other relative & friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Price, his baby sister, Cindy D. Price, his grandparents, and many other relatives.

So very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I worked at St. Lukes and St. Mary’s and spent a lot of hours reviewing charts in the Medical Records Dept. Ken was always so friendly and helpful. I just saw him in the hall a few weeks ago. He always had a smile and a friendly hello. I will miss seeing him. You have my deepest sympathy.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

After the passing of our loved one, the time came to make the arrangements for his funeral and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more kind and caring as Mark was. He picked up on all the little details and things we held close to our hearts and made the celebration of this wonderful man’s life very special. Even playing taps along with the honor guard, Mark we can’t thank you enough…our heartfelt thanks go out to you and the staff.
Sincerely, THE GENE GRABHER FAMILY

Linda
