Service Details

A celebration of Billy’s life and homegoing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, 12:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of the service.

Billy Dean “Bebop” Pryor-El completed his earthly journey on July 8th, 2019. He was born on November 11th, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Elizabeth Pryor.

Bebop was a graduate of the Chicago Public School system and went on to obtain his certifications in Building Maintenance, Culinary Arts, and Welding. He worked at Kenosha Beef for many years. His passions included working with his hands, playing board games, and spending time with his family.

Bebop was a beloved brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend! He leaves to cherish his memories his son Billy Dean “Scoop” Pryor II and his granddaughters Ishaunna, Iyannah, Kyndra, Kynnah, and Joclin Pryor all of Grand Rapids, MI; His siblings: Arthur (Kimberly) Pryor of Madison, WI; Geronimo Mandingo of Las Vegas, NV; Robin Siller, Maurice Pryor, Anthony Rolle, Joseph (LaRachael) Rolle, and James (Slyvia) Rolle all of Racine, WI; and Patricia Pryor of St. Paul, MN. His aunt Ophelia Mallit of Madison, WI , special niece Argo “Lady” McMorris of Racine, WI and close friends Pamela Jones of Grand Rapids, MI and Jeffrey Bunch of Racine, WI.

Bebop also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention by name. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Pryor and his sister Emma Pryor.
