    Dear Family:

I am very sorry that Ann has left you but hope that your memories of her remind you of the good times and give you comfort.

At our THHMB Family Reunion that ended last weekend, we recalled all of our ancestors and family members who have left us. I remember Ann as a dedicated attendee at our family reunions until her health failed. Like her mom, Ann was all about family.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers, and those of our extended family, are with you, now and always.

    Love,
    Your cousin

Through out our life beginning in the Jim-Crow Birmingham Alabama, my assignment was to protect you. On July 21, 2019 the Creator relieved me of that duty, but I refuse to leave my post because my Heart is still connected to your Spirit. I miss you so much Little Sister that I will use my remaining time sharing with your loving children, sisters, brothers and family members just how much you truly sacrificed and Loved each and every one of them. Your big sister, Linda

My Aunt, Alvera Van Brunt, was adamant about not having a funeral; with Mike Langendorf’s skills and refreshing open personality, we were able to meet her desires and also give her family and friends a chance for final goodbyes.
