Jan 20, 1979 – Sep 3, 2019

Service Details

Private funeral services were held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Milwaukee – Jesse Rios, age 40, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

Jesse was born in Milwaukee on January 20, 1979 to Jesus and Nereida (nee: Castro) Rios. He was employed with several companies over the years. Among his interests, Jesse was a master at video games; accomplished musician – who enjoyed singing and talented song composer; was an exercise fanatic who enjoyed working out; was crafty and quite the artist; and was an AVID Green Bay Packers & Chicago Bulls fan. Jesse was always “the life of the party” and tried to make people feel as if they were the most important person in the room. He loved to make people smile and laugh anytime he could….it came naturally.

Surviving are his mom & dad, Jesus & Nereida Rios; children, Jordan & Jesse; brothers & sister, Robert Castillo-Rios, Danerys “Danny” (Josh) Edwards and Pedro (Sandra) Rios; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Private funeral services were held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Jesse, you and I were so close. We’d go to speedway, we ventured the UWM library after bypassing security, we went to the mall to find you shoes, we got to experience love as friends, but nothing more. We were differentiated by “girl Jessie” and “boy Jesse”. You knew so much about me, some things that I would have never told a soul. You were interested in the same religious complexities as I and that’s how we sparked together. I hope you find real peace, that peace you’ve been searching for while in your mortal body. I love you, man.

Testimonials

June 26, 2020

My family picked Draeger , for our Dad, because they did such a wonderful job for my sister and brother in law. I don’t even have the right language skills to tell you how wonderful and compassionate Gary was to our family! He thought of every detail and made it so affordable but yet OUTSTANDING quality! I just can’t say enough about the whole entire process! Thank you Gary! Warren Williams officiated the service and he couldn’t of done a better , more sincere job! Thank you again, Gary! You are superb!

Sincerely,
The Morris Family ❤
