Due to current situation, the family has chosen to have a memorial service for Margaret at a later date.

KENOSHA – Margaret A. Hammill, 76, passed away unexpectedly at Froedtert South – Kenosha Hospital Campus on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on June 24, 1944, the daughter of the late Earl and Marcella (nee: Kennedy) Bain.   She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.

On October 30, 1965 she married Richard “Jaws” Hammill.  He preceded her in death on November 19, 2009.

Margaret worked at B & D Equipment Sales in Sturtevant, retiring in 1998.  She was a talented artist and had a passion for oil painting.  She also loved crocheting many blankets and slippers for her family and friends.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Stacey Hammill of Kenosha; her grandchildren, Kai, Devyn (John Litz), Caleb (Brooke); her sister, Kathleen Kelly of Palo Alto, CA; her sister-in-law, Barb; as well as nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Bain; her sister-in-law, Ginger Jensen and brother-in-law, John “Jack” Kelly.

Due to current situation, the family has chosen to have a memorial service for Margaret at a later date.  Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
