Service Details

   Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th for a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.   The celebration of his life and funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick Parish on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Antony Thomas officiating.  There will also be a visitation in the church from 10-11 a.m. 

 

   Masks are required and the church is limiting attendance to 100 people to allow social distancing to occur.  You may watch the Mass on St. Patrick’s Facebook page.   https://youtu.be/nOS9Je0i3Ks

RACINE – Mr. Rafael R. Maldonado, 68, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

He was born in Mexico on March 20, 1952, the son of the late Rafael Garcia and Luisa Reynoso (nee Alvarez) Maldonado.  In 1974 he married Noreen Nava in Lake County, IL.   He moved to Racine in 1976.

Rafael retired from Cree Lighting in 2018 after 20 years of service.  He was a longtime member of St. Patrick Parish and enjoyed gardening, working on cars and accomplishing home improvement projects.  However, Rafael was happiest in the company of his family.

In addition to his loving wife Noreen, he is survived by his sons and daughter, Luis (Annette) Maldonado, Rosa Tovar, Alfredo Maldonado and Rafael Maldonado, Jr. all of Racine; his brothers and sisters, Francisco Maldonado of Racine, Rosario Maldonado, Rosalba Maldonado, Carmela Maldonado and Graciela Maldonado all of Mexico, Ramon Maldonado and Guadalupe Maldonado of Texas; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.
