Velma E. Lott, 71, completed her earthly journey on Monday, March 15, 2021. She was born in McGee, MS on June 8, 1949 the daughter of the late Abordee and Velma (nee: Lee) McGee.

Surviving are her  husband, Gail; their son, Patrick; four grandchildren, Cecil Rogers, Anita Rogers, Duwayne Rogers, and Jade Gandee; two brothers, Tommy Moore, and Dwight Moore. Her nieces, nephews, and a great nephew, Davon R. Everson, other relatives, and friends also survive her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lott was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Rogers; and two sisters, Clarice Everson and Janice Shelton.
