Glover Thomas, Jr.

Aug 16, 1973 – Mar 19, 2021

Service Details

A private interment service for JR.’s immediate family will take place at Graceland Cemetery.

Glover “JR” Thomas, Jr, 47, passed away at home surrounded by his family, on Friday, March 19th, 2021.

He was born in Racine on August 16, 1973 to Glover and Emma (nee: Thompson) Thomas.

JR graduated from Horlick High School. JR was a Wrestling Fanatic, collecting figurines and memorabilia, he hardly ever missed a ‘Monday Night Raw’ or ‘WWE Smackdown.’ Known to his friends as the wrestler ‘Stefan’, JR had the best sense of humor and loved to joke around. He enjoyed doing everything with his baby brother, Pookie. You rarely seen one without the other, they had a close, special bond.

JR leaves behind to cherish his memories, his brothers: Jerry (Kim) Thomas, Terry Thomas and Charles ‘Pookie’ Thomas; his sister: Etha (Chuck) Lasenby; nephews: Jerry Thomas Jr, Bobby Henderson and Donovan Henderson; nieces: Elisha Thomas, Desiree Thomas and Darian Thomas; 7 great nephews, 4 great nieces and many more family and friends.

JR was preceded in death by his parents: Emma and Glover Thomas; his brother: Edward ‘Leon’ Thomas; and many other loved ones.

A special thank you to Horizon Hospice and Homecare, especially Diane, Krista and Tracy; for all the compassion and care you provided JR during this time. We appreciate everything.

Testimonials

December 19, 2016

I can’t say enough good things about Michael and his staff. They go above and beyond what is required of a funeral home. He has always met my desires and goes beyond what I ask. He always makes it a little more special. He has blessed me and my family many times and comforted us when we are aching because of our loss. I am always confident that he will do his very best, and he always has.
Thank you Michael and staff. May you all have a Blessed Christmas season and New Year

Julie Weyhrauch
