Kimberly Jean Shefchik, 55, received the promise of eternal life on Friday, April 22, 2022.  She was born in Kenosha on September 21, 1966, daughter of Elmer and Mary (nee: Durham) Shefchik.

Kim graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha in 1984 and UW Parkside in 1989, with a bachelor’s degree in Business.  She was an artistic person and loved to draw and scrapbook.  Kim had a green thumb and loved tending to her yard and gardens, as well as reading a good book while lounging in the sun.  She really enjoyed the time she got to spend with her great nieces and nephews, it was always a special time for her to share her love with them.  Kim also cherished her large family in both the USA and England, they meant the world to her and she loved them all very dearly.

Kim leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Mary Shefchik; brother, Dean (Vickie) Shefchik; nieces Sheryl Stropes and Jamie Stropes; aunt and godmother, Jean Menehan; great nieces and nephews, McKenna Stropes, Rodridquez Stevenson Jr., Nevaeh Stevenson, Dominic Austin, Myles Austin, Wyatt Austin; Dylan Austin; other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to mention; as well as her special friend Teddy.

Kim is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Shefchik; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Testimonials

A huge heart felt thank you!

My Aunt, Alvera Van Brunt, was adamant about not having a funeral; with Mike Langendorf’s skills and refreshing open personality, we were able to meet her desires and also give her family and friends a chance for final goodbyes.
