His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 7th at 4:00 p.m. with his brother, Pastor William Holbrook officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home that day from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Jesse W. Holbrook, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at the Aurora Medical Center-Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was born in Charleston, WV on November 26, 1942.

On June 28, 1980, in Calvary Baptist Church, in Sturtevant, he was united in marriage to Marlene Ager who preceded him death on March 17, 2017. He served his country with the U.S. Army. Jess owned and operated American Locksmith. He enjoyed working with leather, fishing, and watching western movies.

Surviving are his two brothers, Pastor William (Gail) Holbrook Sr., of Homer, MI, and Lee (Vicki) McKinney, of Newport, MI; his sister, Betty Kelm, of Plymouth, MI; brother-in-law, Chuck Wahl; and sister-in-law, Mardell (Rob) Fisher, all of Racine; nieces and nephews, Nicholas (Cassy) Fisher, Samantha Fisher, Cheri (Matt) Du Shane, Carolyn (Jason) Taylor, Cathy (Rick) Kelemen, Cindy Holbrook, Sandy (Mac) McNellis, Carrie Rodriguez, Felicia Hedrick, William (Kelly) Holbrook Jr. Marty Rodriguez, Ray (Cindy) Kelm, and Rob (Kira) Kelm. In addition to his beloved wife, Marlene, Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Dunlap and Ruth McKinney; brother, Charles Kiser, sister, Ann Ryan; mother-in-law, Iva Dell Ager; father-in-law, Kenneth Ager; brothers-in-law, William Ager and Ray Kelm, and sister-in-law, Melonie Wahl.

    Mr.holbrook kindly sponsored me for my horse shows back in the day I lived 4 house down from his shop remember when I was a kid riding my bike seeing Jesse takeing his dog out the shop for a break he was truly a amazing man and will truly be missed
