Per Brett’s wishes, private services were held.

Brett Patrick Madore, 63, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on May 13, 2026, at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Born on May 29, 1962, in Presque Isle, Maine, his family moved to Racine, Wisconsin where Brett brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

Brett was the beloved husband of Deb Madore; brother to Troy (Shawn) Madore and son-in-law to Patricia Horn. He also shared a lifelong bond with his dear friend Dean Longo along with other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Maynard Madore; his mother, Judy Gillet; and his stepfather, Dan Gillet.

Known for his warm personality and sharp sense of humor, Brett had a unique ability to bring smiles to the faces of everyone he encountered. His love for grilling and music filled many gatherings with joy and comfort. A true animal lover at heart, Brett’s compassion extended to all creatures great and small.

Brett’s presence in the lives of those who knew him was a gift that will not be forgotten. His kindness, humor, and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

May Brett’s memory bring comfort to all who mourn his loss. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered always.
