Service Details

Private entombment was held at West Lawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Aleatha “Annie” Blick, 80, passed away at Lakeshore at Siena, on November 26, 2022. She was born in Rock Island, IL on March 30, 1940, the daughter of the late Lester and Katherine (nee: Kapfer) Blick.

Annie graduated from Rock Island High School. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Annie was kind and loving. Conversations with her didn’t need to be long to learn that. Once you met her, you were her friend. She spent her life doing whatever she could to help others.

Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Frances “Jean” and Rick Clark; niece Tiffany Bruett; and great niece and nephew, Isabel Bruett and Jared Bruett. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Annie was always happy and I have fond memories of playing with her when she was a little girl. Her happiness continued throughout her life.

Frances Jean, I haven’t seen you in many years. Mom (Bessie Kosina) and I always hoped we could visit but the trip would have been hard on her. I a,lways loved my visits as a kid to Racine. Annie was older than me but was always my best friend and companion on our family visits. Loved her so much. May your memories help you and your family thru your loss of Annie.
